The Hospital Broadcasting Service has had a request programme on air since we started broadcasting in 1970. The Open Line currently runs from 8PM most nights. For more details of our broadcasting schedule, click here.
Our aim with the Open Line is to play music that patients want to hear. If you've got a song that you want to hear then get in touch and we'll try to play it for you. Not to say that only patients can make requests: if you have a loved one in hospital and want a song and a message for them, let us know and we'll get it on air.
The Open Line isn't like other programmes that tend towards music of a single type, the Open Line is two hours of your selections: rock, pop, classical, traditional, punk, jazz and everything in-between.
You can also get a whole show to yourself through our Your Show programme, click here if you want to know more.
You can now leave us a voice message using SpeakPipe, click here or on the logo to get started.
